The staff and volunteers at Cedar Cove Assisted Living take their mission very seriously. The aim of our staff is to glorify God through efforts to ensure that seniors never feel abandoned - no matter what personal circumstances, seniors can always be certain of their hope in the Lord.
Meet Our Administrator
Ellie Barr
Ellie Barr grew up in the Les Cheneaux area and graduated from Les Cheneaux Community Schools. Ellie went on to earn a BS Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in Psychology from Lake Superior State University. While attending LSSU Ellie was a four year letter winner on the LSSU Women’s Volleyball team. Ellie joined Cedar Cove as Administrator in January 2008. Prior to Cedar Cove, Ellie worked in rehabilitation settings for the University of Michigan Health System, St. Joseph Mercy Health System and Hope Network Rehabilitation Services. She also has 3 years experience in a long term care setting. Ellie has accumulated over 11 years of experience in the health care field.
Ellie lives with her family in Cedarville, Michigan. Ellie and her husband Rich Barr have two sons, Jackson and Trevor Barr. Ellie enjoys boating, walking, gardening, playing volleyball and spending time with her family.
